1 tsp oil
8 oz box of Dirty Rice Mix
½ cup green onion, sliced
½ cup sweet peppers, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
Slice Landjaegers into bite sized slices, set aside.
Prepare the rice according to package directions. This takes about 25 minutes.
When there is about 10 minutes left for rice to cook, heat oil in a fry pan over medium-high heat. Saute the onion and peppers until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in sliced Landjaegers to warm and brown a bit.
Combine cooked rice, veggies, and Landjaegers stirring thoroughly. Pour mixture into a 9” prepared cast iron skillet and bake for 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
