      This is the best summer sausage. My wife and I have been enjoying this sausage in sandwiches for years. We add a little pepper jack cheese for a great sandwich. We take some with us when we go south for the winter. There is no sausage that I have found that is as good as this one.

      I did get a gift box of some sausage from Harry and David that might have been better, but I know think it might have been the sweet hot mustard they had with it. I have been trying to find that mustard ever since, but this is some great sausage. I usually like mine a little firmer, tighter stuffed than these, but the flavor is just terrific. I highly recommend it.

      So glad to have found a place where this recipe has been continued...and able to share it to friends and family from Michigan to Iowa to Arizona as a special Christmas treat...second year in a row to share the goodies!

      Only summer sausage I will buy anymore. Rest does not have the flavor and SO GOOD! I have tried many brands and after one piece just toss the rest.
