Beef in a Blanket

Simple and tasty! Quick meal or snack - soon to be a family favorite.

Makes 8 treats

Ingredients:

8 oz chub of Silver Creek Beef Summer Sausage (1)

8 oz tube refrigerated crescent rolls, your personal brand choice

8 oz can/jar pizza sauce

8 oz bag of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar or blend)

Instructions:

Thinly slice summer sausage.

Open refrigerated crescent rolls and separate into 8 wedges.

At the widest portion of crescent roll, spread a teaspoon of pizza sauce.

Lay 3 slices of summer sausage on top of the sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

Roll crescent rolls to close and place on a prepared cookie sheet.

Bake at 400° until golden, about 8 minutes depending on your oven.

Sprinkle with additional shredded cheese

Pop back in the oven for a few seconds to melt cheese.

Serve warm with remaining sauce or enjoy cold.
