Yields approximately 16 servings
Ingredients
8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
1/2 tsp Garlic salt
3 Green Onion Stalks Diced
1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
8 oz Silver Creek Venison summer sausage, thinly sliced (1)*
Instructions
- Make sure your cream cheese is softened so you can stir it. If needed, soften it in the microwave.
- Mix in garlic salt, onions and cheddar cheese until combined.
- Place in the fridge and let cool until the cream cheese gets hard.
- Spread the slices of sausage on a piece of saran wrap. Place the hardened cheese on top.
- Roll the cream cheese into the shape of a ball and roll it into the sausage to cover the ball.
- Serve immediately or place in the fridge for an hour until ready to eat.
- Serve with your favorite crackers
* I used our venison summer sausage for this recipe, however, any of our 8 oz sized chubs will work. Available in elk, buffalo, and all beef.
